In West Middletown, PA, where my brother and his family live, there are pretty much no good options for internet access, let alone something that comes close to what the FCC defines as broadband speeds. DSL is unavailable and there's no cable or fiber, so the only options for residents are to use dial-up, satellite, or wireless hotspots through mobile operators. While the satellite and cellular options are somewhat usable, the costs are prohibitively expensive.I really hope the work being put into this will lead to some better options for places like this.
