What a great proposition to enable ideas people to convert the time, effort and money they put into compiling a Patent to "partner" with Google for the betterment of Earth!

Awesome, I/We have copyrights/patents to the Dr. Einstein predicted "Unification Science Upgrades" (to the USP-like, FCC-like, FDA-like, FED. RES.-like, GOLD-STANDARD-DOLLAR-like, etc., etc., etc. New U. S. Grade), regardless of any/all "fine print", we'll offer you a Charter for $1,000,000 and guarantee to multiply your holdings' value, severalfold by turning your securities/stocks "PLATINUM STANDARD"....the upgrades, like Dr. Einstein's then-new-Avogadr's-Number-including H. S. Diploma, includes a new "U. S. Grade H.S. Diploma", the Worlds First/Only Scientific H. S. Diploma Course, Part A, being viewable/start able at www.PRLog.Org/10439874 and Part B includes the 1904-48 Relativity Upgrades that didn't make it into the then-new H. S. Diploma or since.....check it out and see how you like fiscally/physically. TAKING THE UNDISPUTED LEAD IN WORLDS BEST ON THE INTERNET....MAKING ALL THE REST "PROFITS YOU NOTHING", CHILD'S PLAY...RCCFM, Always(c); Dr. Eric Who's Who in America Physician and Law Professor. I have many new and genuine ideas (innovations in mind) but they are not patented as I don't have money for it. Will Google buy them if they are found to be new and genuine?

    Brilliant!
If you are thinking to submit a patent you should try to first understand its value. You can use a patent search and valuation platform like www.amberscope.com to check out the relative value of your patent.

You simply enter your patent number and it will show you the immediate patent landscape around your patent and what yours is worth in comparison. It is a paid service but half of all results are un-obscured, so you might just be lucky. That said, one week access only sets you back $40.

Disclaimer - I am the CEO of Ambercite, builder of AmberScope.com.

All the best of luck with selling your patents! DS

Great idea, Google! It’s good to see efforts to increase transparency and accessibility in this process.

At IP Nexus we share the same goals. This is one of the reasons we established our IP Marketplace, where IP owners can list their IP, free of charge, and connect with interested parties. We currently list over 70,000 IPs (of all types, not only patents), and are growing daily. Check us out at https://www.ipnexus.com/.

Are you also interested in new technology ideas that haven't yet been patented?

Wonderful idea for Google to make available for a limited time this concept. Feel the pulse! After all, this is how Google originally started from ideas turned into tangible assets with their popular name that became ubiquitous in technology and woven into our daily lives..... always ever present...

    Very good!
I have a good patent for sale. I think if Google buys it, the patent will bring much benefit to the owner and the rest of the people.

david c. smith I have 8 patents and have not sold one. I am a scientist not a business person and obviously need marketing help. Each patent cost a minimum of $10,000 plus maintenance fees. So that the starting point and then add value which I have trouble doing. I would like to retain a 10-20 % ownership and negotiate the price, rather than me setting a price. Is this possible ?

We expect that all the patents filed will be a top secret from Google, if they don't accept the patent. And if they accept it, it's well and good.
