Capitalism! I hope it catches on here. Instead of throwing hundreds of billions of dollars at our corrupt crumbling oligopolies, maybe we should invest to in tearing them down.
Open networks seem to be the domain of muni networks. Requiring telcos and cablecos to have open networks will likely dampen their appetite to invest in these networks.
