////. Obama has had some difficulty winning a significant share of support from white voters in most of the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries,
This is an absurd comment.
Blacks make up a relatively small percentage of the US Population as a whole.....
Blacks make up an even smaller percentage of the voting population as a whole
Blacks make up an even smaller percentage of the primary voting population as a whole...
Obama could not be this competitive unless he was getting many White voters.
Perhaps in 1984 and 1988 when Jesse Jackson ran, your statement might have been more valid. But even in the 1988 election, Jackson got almost 7 million votes in the Democratic primaries and came in second.
Obama is in fact competitive because his supporters include a large percentage of the White population - as well as Blacks and Hispanics.
In a nation of almost 200 million eligible voters in which Blacks make up less than 12% - no candidate could be this successful when there are just two realistic alternatives for the Democratic ticket.
This biased information shows that even a sophisticated, progressive organization like Google is subjected to prejudices and irrational decisions based on race
Everything has been completed fine but why to speak about race all may be Obama has got more white people votes it doesn't matter black or white people wants him to serve for their country so only he has been selected by people. All are humans and everthing their wish.Race problem should not come anywhere in the world. -------------- Barbie Purl pennsylvania drug rehab
